DIY Dehydrated Orange & Cinnamon Bundles

These bundles make a great addition to any tree and smell amazing!

Dehydrated orange and cinnamon bundles are super easy to put together and a much more affordable alternative to buying premade potpourri sachets. They also make for a great holiday gift.

Fruit Drying

In order to dehydrate your oranges, you'll start off by slicing them thinly. Once you've prepped your oranges, place them in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. You will then want to let the fruit dry in the oven, and set it to 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 4 to 6 hours. Check your slices often and flip them halfway through the drying process to insure they dry equally. This method can also be reproduced for other citrus fruits, such as grapefruit, limes, lemons, and blood oranges.

Simple Assembly

Once your orange slices are dried, use some twine to thread through the center of the fruit and secure it to two cinnamon sticks. Add an extra touch of holiday cheer to your decoration by slipping a sprig of holly berries into the bundle.

Tea Time

We here at Catalyst Tea Company are in full swing with the holiday spirit! Enjoy these unique blends while you have fun handcrafting your dehydrated orange and cinnamon bundles with the whole family!
