Find your calm with a cup of tea!

Sometimes life can get a little hectic and out of control. So, this week we're focusing on opening our minds, grounding ourselves, and staying centered. Finding peace of mind and maintaining a calm, relaxed state of being can be challenging when those pesky intrusive thoughts start swirling. So, we're here to help!


Setup The Vibe

Meditation & Tea Preparation

While you're going through the ritual motions of choosing your tea, boiling water in the kettle, and the downtime between letting your brew steep and pouring the tea into your cup, take notice of your actions. Let the gentle burblings of the boiling water wash over you and calm your spirit. Try to hone in on that sound and nothing else.


Tea Recommendations

For this practice, we recommend our very own Dream Catcher herbal tea blend. This delicious herbal tea blend is perfect to enjoy in the evening and after dinner. It delivers a bright floral flavor with notes of earthy sage and cooling peppermint.

The magic of chamomile will bring you peace of mind and mental clarity. The destabilizing effects of general anxiety disorder, or GAD, may be lessened with a steady intake of chamomile. The flower contains an antioxidant called apigenin. Apigenin is what gives the chamomile flower its sleep-inducing and tranquilizing properties. The antioxidant works by binding itself to specific receptors in the brain that can decrease your anxiety and help you sleep.


Time To Pour

  1. Use a tea cup or mug that inspires positive vibes.

  2. Find a cozy place to sit and relax.

  3. Observe as the water transforms and takes on the color and fragrance of the tea.

  4. Close your eyes and focus on the scent emanating from your cup.

  5. Silently express gratitude for this moment of peace.

  6. Enjoy your tea for as long as you wish!
