Updated: Feb 17, 2023

Tea selections specially curated to free your mind!

Before you begin your daily meditation, why not supercharge your experience with a nice cup of tea? Did you know that there are certain herbal teas and spices that specifically target and balance the seven chakras? Follow our guide below to learn more!

Root Chakra

The root chakra is ruled by the planets Earth and Saturn and reflected in the color red. Teas that include sage, ginger, elderflower, and dandelion provide balance and grounding to the root chakra.

Sacral Chakra

Located in the sacrum and ruled by the moon, the sacral chakra holds within it the element of light. Hibiscus and calendula flowers take care of the sacral chakra. Not only are the flowers packed with moisturizing qualities, but they are also tremendous antioxidants.

Solar Plexus

This firey chakra is ruled by the sun and mars. It's no coincidence that herbs and spices such as cinnamon, rosemary, and fennel are great solar plexus chakra openers.

Heart Chakra

Nothing speaks to the heart better than roses, so of course rose petals—along with jasmine and hawthorn berries—make for the perfect heart chakra tea.

Throat Chakra

The throat chakra thrives and settles with lemon balm tea, eucalyptus, and even red clover.

Your Third Eye

The third eye chakra finds peace and clarity with mint teas, jasmine, and lemon.

Crown Chakra

Represented by violet and white colors, the crown is calmed with herbal teas that include lavender or lotus root.

Catalyst Tea Company encourages all our readers and customers to take that little extra time for themselves.
