Spooky Herbal Gummies

A fun way to entice the littles to enjoy nutritional herbs!

Every kid loves a snack that wiggles and jiggles. When food is fun and festive it seems to go down for them like a spoon full of sugar. That's why these spooky herbal gummies are a great way to introduce health-conscious herbs to their diet.

Fit The Mold

Gummies are great all on their own, but the fun shape during this extra spooky season is what really sells them. Your kids will love a calming chamomile gummy pumpkin or a stomach-settling citrus-based gummy ghost.

What You'll Need:

  • 16 oz of brewed tea of choice (See recommendations below.)

  • 2 1/2 oz of room temperature water

  • 4 TBLS of gelatin

  • 2 TBLS of honey

  • Mesh strainer

  • Heat-safe water jug

Directions:

  1. Once you've brewed your 16 ounces of tea, set it aside in a covered pot for about 20 minutes.

  2. In a separate heat-safe jug, add 2 1/2 ounces of your room temperature water and stir in the 4 tablespoons of gelatin.

  3. After your tea has sat for 20 mins. you may strain it into the jug with the water/gelatin mixture, using the mesh strainer.

  4. Gently whisk in 2 tablespoons of honey then carefully pour your herbal gummy mixture into the molds.

  5. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours to allow the gummies to set up.

Keep In Mind:

Once you release the herbal gummies from their molds, keep them in the fridge in an air-tight container. They have a shelf life of just under 2 weeks.
